STEPPE Agroholding is one of the largest agricultural companies in Southern Russia. The company’s land bank totals 578 thousand hectares. The main crop is wheat.

The agroholding develops business across six key areas: crop production, dairy farming, grocery production, horticulture, and is also a leading producer of packaged cheeses in Russia and processed cheeses for the HoReCa segment. The company’s main assets are located in Southern Russia, in regions most favorable in terms of climate, yields and logistics — Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories and Rostov Region. STEPPE is among the leaders of the agricultural sector in digitalization.

The annual average gross harvest exceeds 2 million tons, including more than 1 million tons of wheat. The company operates its own breeding center producing 30 thousand tons of elite winter wheat and spring barley seeds, as well as first and second generation seeds of flax, peas and chickpeas for internal use and commercial sales.

STEPPE ranks first in Russia in dairy productivity per cow according to the National Union of Milk Producers (Soyuzmoloko) and is among the four largest raw milk producers in the country. Gross milk yield in 2024 totaled 267 thousand tons (+21% year‑on‑year). STEPPE Agroholding operates seven dairy complexes.

The company produces grocery products under its own brand, including a wide range of cereals and snacks. Products are sold in the largest retail chains in Russia such as Auchan, Lenta, Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, as well as major marketplaces including Ozon and Yandex Market.

The agroholding operates 756 hectares of intensive orchards in Krasnodar Territory. Annual harvest averages about 30 thousand tons. The company’s own fruit storage facilities allow storing up to 23 thousand tons throughout the year, ensuring year‑round supply and reducing dependence on seasonal price fluctuations.

In addition, the company provides grain elevator services. STEPPE Agroholding owns four elevator complexes with total storage capacity exceeding 500 thousand tons.

The company actively develops an import substitution program. Russian agricultural machinery accounts for more than 83% of STEPPE’s fleet, and plant protection products about 95%. The company uses domestic wheat seeds as the main crop, as well as Russian hybrids of sugar beet, confectionery and oilseed sunflower, chickpea, flax, mustard, spring barley, alfalfa and other crops.
