A working meeting was held between the Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Business Council and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Russia
On January 21, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Moscow hosted a working meeting between the Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Business Council Gennady Nikolayevich Timchenko and the Extraordinary
and the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Russia Zhang Hanhui.
The meeting was attended by Executive Director of the Russian-Chinese Business Council Evgeny Leonidovich Markin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Russian Fisheries Company LLC Gleb Sergeevich Frank, Counselors of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation.
Issues of Russian-Chinese bilateral business cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
Issues of expanding bilateral strategic cooperation with Chinese companies on the supply of Russian coal to China were discussed.
They also talked about supporting projects in the field of agriculture and timber processing industry.
During the meeting, Chairman of the Business Council Gennady Nikolayevich Timchenko asked to support Russian fishing companies.
During the meeting, Mr. Ambassador promised to provide assistance and support to Russian construction companies in the implementation of large-scale construction projects.
Gennady Nikolayevich Timchenko invited the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to assist domestic pork producers in the sale of their products on the Chinese market and thanked them for sincere and effective efforts in supporting Russian beef producers.
The Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Business Council highly appreciated the support of the Chinese Embassy in the work of the Russian-Chinese Business Council and stressed that the Russian-Chinese Business Council would continue to assist the members of the Business Council in interacting with their Chinese partners.
Ambassador Zhang Hanhui congratulated Gennady Nikolayevich Timchenko on the successful holding of the extraordinary General Annual Meeting, which took place on January 20 of this year, and also congratulated Yevgeny Leonidovich Markin on his election as Executive Director of the Russian-Chinese Business Council.
