Business Forum “Russian-Chinese Trade and Economic Cooperation: Tasks and Prospects – 2025” was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation on October 8.



On October 8th, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) hosted the Business Forum «Russian-Chinese Trade and Economic Cooperation. Objectives and Prospects — 2025.»
The Business Forum is organized annually by the RCBC jointly with the CCPIT and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Vladimir Ivanovich Padalko, Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, opened the event with a welcoming speech.
Welcome addresses were read out by our RCBC, G.N. Timchenko; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui; CCPIT member Ren Hongbin; and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation M.V. Markovich.
Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation Zhang Wei and CCPIT General Representative in the Russian Federation Gao Qi attended the event.
This year’s Forum’s working session included potential topics such as business cooperation between Russia and China in agriculture, high-tech projects, and interregional cooperation.
Over 200 participants (Chinese guests and members of the RCBC) participated in the Forum.
In his closing speech, Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry V.I. Padalko summarized the key results, highlighting a number of practical steps developed by the RCBC, CCPIT, and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to advance joint efforts.
Following the working session of the Business Forum, participants continued their B2B communication.
