On August 18–19, the III International Forum “ROSTKI: Russia and China – Mutually Beneficial Cooperation” was held in Kazan.

The following members of the Business Council “Sberbank” and the FESCO Transport Group attended the Forum.

Within the framework of the forum, the Russian-Chinese Business Council acted as a partner and co-organizer of the panel session «Russian-Chinese Trade and Investment Cooperation in the New Era».

During the session, reports were made by the RCBC Advisor N.A. Safronov, Chief executive of the Russian Asian Business Council M.V. Kuznetsov, the General Representative of the China Council of the International Trade Promotion in Russia Mr. Gao Qi and the Deputy Chairman of the Wuhan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Mr. Chen Yueqing.

The speakers noted the high potential for the development of bilateral trade, economic and investment relations between the Russian Federation and China, which in many ways still remains unrealized, but at the same time noted a number of current problems that influenced the decline in trade turnover between our countries in 2025.
