On May 19-20, the Russian-Chinese Forum was held in Khabarovsk under the motto «Bolshoy Ussuriysky»: cooperation in the joint development of the islands”.

The event was attended by more than three thousand people from Russia and China, including representatives of more than 10 companies-members of the Business Council.

As part of the Forum, more than 30 thematic platforms were organized, dedicated to the factors of interaction between Russia and China, energy, tourism development, deepening intercultural cooperation, environmental issues and entrepreneurship.

In the thematic session “Russian-Chinese industrial cooperation: modern trends and urgent tasks” the business part of the Forum of political leaders Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the PRC A.V. Dakhnovsky, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Khabarovsk Territory D.A. Astafyev, Chairman of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs Zhou Liqun, Deputy Executive Director of the RCBS I.G. Batalov.

The speakers pay attention to the development of Russian-Chinese economic cooperation in various areas, including mutual localization of production.

The key event of the Forum was the plenary session “Russia and China: joining efforts for common rosperity”, during which representatives of the authorities and businesses of the two countries discussed economic partnership, development of border regions, investments in joint projects, trade, industrial cooperation, tourism and cultural ties between the Russia and China.
