About Council
The agreement on the establishment of the Russian-Chinese Business Council was signed on October 14, 2004 in Beijing during the official visit of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin in the presence of the heads of state of Russia and China.
The Russian-Chinese Business Council was created to promote and support bilateral economic projects, as well as to facilitate the development of cooperation between Russian and Chinese business communities.
The main objectives of the Russian-Chinese Business Council are:
- Establishing of direct business contacts between entrepreneurs of Russia and China;
- Implementation of joint trade, economic and investment projects;
- Protection of mutual investments;
- Corporate dispute management.
The Russian-Chinese Business Council brings together the largest Russian enterprises, associations and unions of entrepreneurs doing business with China.
The Russian-Chinese Business Council operates under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.With the support of the Russian-Chinese Business Council, a number of large-scale economic projects have been successfully implemented, including:
