The working visit was conducted with support of the Chairman of the Business Council Gennady Timchenko, the Government of Chechnya Republic and Ambassador of the Chinese People’s Republic to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui. 

The members of the delegation were the representatives of the large Chinese companies in various spheres of industry, car manufacturing, electronics, construction and agriculture.

The first day was devoted to cultural exchange and getting to know Chechnya Republic and their traditions, customs and beautiful nature. The Business Council delegation visited famous culture and education facilities.

On May, 30, 2022 the delegation of the Russian-Chinese Business Council and the management of Chechnya Republic had a meeting with the business circles of the Republic.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Chechnya Government Hasan Hakimov greeted the members of the delegation with the opening speech at the hospitable Chechnya land and stated that the Republic was interested in developing strong and long-lasting business ties with the Chinese colleagues. Minister for economic, regional development and trade of Chechnya Republic Rustam Shaptukaev also delivered a welcome speech. 

The Managing Director of RCBC Evgeny Markin told about the main goals of the visit and thanked for the warm reception: “Nowadays Chechnya Republic has got all necessary conditions for developing entrepreneurship and attracting foreign investment. Chechnya Republic is a good location for Chinese investment projects. I hope we can find mutually beneficial solutions and realize joint projects for socio-economic development of the region.” 

The delegation visited industrial and manufacturing locations in Grozny: the company “Vain-LIA” producing lithium-ion batteries and systems of accumulating energy, the company “RK Group” producing medical equipment for treating heart diseases, the park for high technologies of Grozny State Oil Technology University and also the automobile manufacturer “Chechenauto”.

The members of the delegation expressed their strong interest in launching and developing business cooperation in industrial, agricultural, digital spheres as well as in construction and tourism.
