The largest Russian construction company Stroytransgaz and KitayStroy, the Russian representative office of the leading construction company in China and one of the most significant construction contractors in the world of the China State Construction Engineering Corporation, signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of a project for the museum, opera and educational complex in Vladivostok. The document was signed on September 3 on the sidelines of the VI Eastern Economic Forum. The document was signed by V.Lavlentsev, General Director of Stroytransgaz, and Lu Hao, General Director of KitayStroy.

In Vladivostok, the large-scale complex will be located on the two sites. An educational campus is being built on Russky Island, and a large-scale Museum and Opera center will be erected on the Eagle’s Nest Hill, where branches of the country’s largest museums – the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, as well as a branch of the Mariinsky Theater will operate.

KitayStroy acts as a subcontractor at all stages of the construction of the facility at the Eagle’s Nest Hill until the facility is commissioned at the end of 2023. The base price of the contract is preliminary estimated by the parties at 20 billion rubles.
