The Russian-Chinese Business Council Participation in the Eastern Economic Forum-2021
On September 2-4, 2021 the Russian-Chinese Business Council took part in the Eastern Economic Forum with an expanded agenda.
In partnership with the Fund RC-Investments, a new platform «Invest in Russia with the Russian-Chinese Business Council — Where Trust Is Built» was opened, uniting the investment agenda of Russia’s regions and their foreign partners. The work of this platform made it possible to identify the most promising areas of work in attracting investments in the economies of Russia and China and to exchange relevant experience in working with China and other Asia-Pacific countries.
With the assistance and participation of RCBC, the agreement was signed between Stroytransgaz and KitayStroy on the construction of the Museum, Opera and Educational Complex
in Vladivostok. This agreement is important for strengthening cultural and business ties between Russia and China.
The signed agreement between PharmEco and the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia was an important step in the development of interaction between Russia and China
in the field of pharmacology. One of the key issues in the framework of cooperation will be the possibility of expedited production equipment delivery for the realization of biotechnological projects.
Within the framework of EEF-2021, CEO of the Business Council Evgeny Markin took part in the session «The space of trust between Russia and China in new realities». Special attention was paid to the issue of expanding the space of trust and strengthening relations between the two states.
The Russian-Chinese Business Council facilitated the session “Invest in Russia: Improving working mechanisms with foreign investors”, during which the existing mechanisms for attracting foreign investments and the possibilities for their improvement were discussed.
One of the key events of EEF-2021 was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Business Concil, the Roscongress Foundation and the RC-Investments Foundation. The agreement promotes the development of cooperation between Russian and Chinese organizations, as well as the countries of the Asia-Pacific region overall.
